With the help of Genline and other tools I'm now updating
my family tree. The genealogy research has really become more fun with the archives just a mouse click away.
Impressive Genline
Finally Genline sees the end of the project to scan all Swedish parish books and make them available as images on-line. Previously they have only been available on micro fiche. The project will be finished during 2005, but the material is already very usable.
Earlier i have been sceptic to this approach. I thought it would be slow, clumsy to use and of too low quality. All my fears have come to shame. The system has very good performance in both quality and response time measures. It is also fairly easy to use.
